Tourism is very important to Jamaica and many Jamaicans work in hotels, restaurants and shops that serve this industry. It is Jamaica's main industry.

Jamaica's main exports are alumina, bauxite, sugar, rum, coffee, yams, drinks, chemicals and mineral fuels. Main export partners are US, Canada, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
